Categories and Word Limit
Softcopy accepts both fiction and non-fiction writing.
Softcopy does not accept poetry or children’s literature.
The word limit for submissions is 1000 words.
Conditions
All
submissions must be the original work of the emerging writer submitting it.
Only unpublished submissions will be considered.
Submissions from writers with previously published book-length manuscripts will not be accepted (blogs, magazine articles and inclusion in anthologies do not count as publication for this purpose).
Multiple submissions are permitted.
All submissions must be made to SoftcopySubmissions@gmail.com
Submissions should include a 100 word writer bio as well as a photo.
The decision to publish is at the discretion of the Softcopy editor and no correspondence will be entered into.
Style Guide
Previously unpublished submissions of fiction and non-fiction writing between 500-1000 words, double spaced in 12 Point Times New Roman are invited for consideration.
We use Macquarie Dictionary spelling and the Snooks & Co Style Manual for authors, editors and printers (6th Edition).
